Metropolitan University College’s academic programmes represent an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the famous Scandinavian welfare model. At the same time, the student-oriented learning methods will help you develop your critical and analytical skills and improve your capacity for academic reflection.

Social and Cultural Events

During your stay the Metropolitan student exchange crew will provide you with practical support and will regularly organize social and cultural events offering you the opportunity to get acquainted with Danish culture and habits and meet Danish as well as international students.

English modules, courses and electives

Metropolitan University College offers a variety of English programmes, from a full degree programme in Global Nutrition and Health, to short- or long-term exchange programmes including: placements, summer schools, international workshops, seminars etc. Find our range of English programmes here.

Danish Culture and Understanding – week 5 (January 30-February 3, 2012)

'Danish Culture and Understanding' is an interdisciplinary course, taking place in week 5, 2012 for exchange students attending Metropolitan University College. The academic content consists of extracts from the general curriculum for the basic Danish programmes, revolving around the evolution of the Danish social model, Danish culture and intercultural communication.

The course provides a solid foundation for understanding your own studies in a Danish context. In addition, a number of social activities are planned for the week. Please find the preliminary program here.

The course is free and you are welcome to attend even if the week is not included in your Learning Agreement or Training Agreement.
