VisionVision

Metropolitan University College aims to make a positive contribution to society.

Metropolitan actively helps to resolve the challenges facing the welfare state and to formulate the agenda for the welfare society of the future. This is done by improving programmes aimed at the people who will manage the welfare sector of the future and by providing opportunities for lifelong professional learning, both through research and development work and through continuing and further education programmes that confer relevant qualifications.
By combining current practical knowledge with new theoretical insights,
Metropolitan helps develop the professions in the health and welfare sectors.
Metropolitan works closely with the public and private sectors, research centres, educational institutions, regions, local authorities, the government, ministries and partners abroad.
Metropolitan’s focus is on the world around us and on how to apply our core competences to drive development and add value.
Developing practice implies not just providing services that are in demand today; Metropolitan also wants to develop solutions for tomorrow. To reflect this, Metropolitan has adopted the motto - Knowledge that works – knowledge that challenges

Knowledge that works – knowledge that challenges

Metropolitan provides opportunities, identifies solutions and sets the agenda for the future of the welfare society – it is from these activities that we derive our meaning and our mission.
