University College Copenhagen is a university of applied sciences with campuses in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, and the Greater Copenhagen Area.

University College Copenhagen is more than just an educational institution. It is a living, active knowledge organisation that both plays a role in the community and takes part in shaping the society of tomorrow. We train the people who will contribute to the development of the future welfare society. Education is not only the foundation of an enlightened society but also the key to solving fundamental problems and grasping new opportunities.

Located in some of the most attractive areas of Copenhagen, University College Copenhagen enjoys dynamic and academically strong campus environments.

The two faculties bring together three core strands: study programmes, continuing and further education, and research and development. The interrelationship between teaching, research and society is our top priority, and we are unfailing in our efforts to raise our research profile. We believe that high-quality study programmes are important for both the individual’s opportunities and the ongoing development of welfare provision. As well as learning about their chosen fields, it is important that graduates from University College Copenhagen are capable of driving their professions forward.

University College Copenhagen has ambitions. We strive not only to be an academic spearhead with study programmes rooted in practice and supported by relevant research, but also to be at the forefront of digital education. Digital solutions help improve dialogue with the rest of society, with our full-time students, with postgraduates taking courses at University College Copenhagen
and with our partners.

We believe that knowledge should have an impact and challenge people.
