The Bachelor's Degree Programme in Midwifery in Copenhagen has a long tradition of international collaboration.

Midwifery students can apply for studying parts of their programme abroad at one of the educational institutions with which the degree programme maintains exchange agreements. The Bachelor's Degree Programme in Midwifery maintains bilateral agreements with:

It is recommended to go abroad from module 7 and no later than module 11. Several criteria must be met for a student to go abroad, and an individual assessment of the host institution will be made. It is a requirement that the student has passed all modules prior to the stay abroad, and that previous internship hosts assess that the student is suited for an internship abroad. Moreover, the learning opportunities at the host institution must correspond to the learning objectives of the respective module in Copenhagen. It is also possible to plan an observation stay abroad during module 13.
