Students can intern abroad during module 9. They also have the option of studying theoretical subjects on module 11, module 12, and the elective module 13.

Exchange at partner institutions

The Bachelor's Degree Programme in Occupational Therapy collaborates with the following institutions abroad:

Exchange at other institutions (travelling as a free-mover)

If students wish to study at institutions other than those included in the established agreements, it is the student's responsibility to liaise with, and provide input from, the institution. To ensure that the study period can be approved, it is an absolute requirement that the international coordinator at the Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy at Metropolitan University College approves the educational institution and the planned course of study. Likewise, in relation to module 9, it is imperative that the respective institution documents that the student has passed the learning objectives after the stay has ended.

Exchange during module 13

It is possible to use the 6-week period in module 13 to intern at an institution or hospital abroad.
